270mm 10.5” Sakimaru Yanagiba Takohiki Sashimi Knife Single Bevel Buffalo Horn
NAGIBA Sakimaru Takohiki — Single-Bevel Slicer | 270mm
About the Blade Finish (Please Read)
This knife is made with traditional clad construction (kasumi / awase): a hard carbon steel cutting core forge-welded to a softer iron jacket. Under certain lighting angles, you may notice slight waviness or an uneven reflection along the blade surface. This is a natural characteristic of clad blades — not a defect, dent, or damage. Under normal lighting the surface appears smooth, and it has no effect on sharpness, edge performance, or durability. Each blade is hand-finished, so the cladding line and surface texture are unique to every knife.
A precision single-bevel slicer built for clean, single-pull cuts through fish and sashimi. The long, narrow blade tapers into a graceful rounded sakimaru tip, and the spine carries the engraved NAGIBA mark — 凪刃, “calm blade.”
